Coached Freeplay

Sundays from 1-3pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays are general instruction classes, with a primary focus on personal development, engaging with technical and tactical problem solving through freeplay and investigation of sources from the myriad authors we study, exploring new weapons and systems, etc.

Our Sunday Technical and Fundamentals class will involve work on a particular technical or tactical problem, and will be primarily focused on drilling and mechanics, with a much smaller segment of the class dedicated to freeplay.

For the Coached Freeplay, plan to come prepared with what you want to work on, and be prepared to help others in their own efforts. You will be working on learning how to be a good coach and partner in addition to whatever you are looking for focus on for your own training. Members of any experience level can attend, but you will be expected to have something prepared.

Beginner's Day occurs on the 1st Sunday of every month @11am*, and are offered at a discounted rate of $10 for the class.

Next Beginner's Day Dates:
December 5
January 9
February 6

*Starting Jan 2022, the Beginner's class will move to 1-3pm

Registration openings are limited, so please register promptly if you're hoping to attend!

Joining Us?

Please attend practice in clothing that is easy to move around in, and we strongly recommend that you wear a groin cup if appropriate. Please contact us to let us know if you're planning to attend, this makes it much easier for us to prepare a lesson that you will enjoy and learn from. Our club has members at many skill levels, and it is easier to account for these if we know who is attending ahead of time.

If you have a chance, please review the Expectations and Conduct for the club, so you understand the rules for the gym and a bit about what we expect from you working with us.
